The County Assembly of Kajiado has today held prayers ahead of the official opening of the Second Session of the Third Assembly later in the afternoon today.
Rev. Moses Melita of Festival Harvest Church, presided over the event that brought together the Speaker, Honourable members and the staff.
In a potent message entitled fruitful leadership, the minister underscored the fact that leadership comes with vision and must be fruitful.

“Leadership that bears fruits lasts. We are all appointed by God to serve and bear fruits, regardless of your position or title you are meant to impact lives positively,” said Rev. Moses Melita, adding that its all about grace and unity.
“Without vision people perish and without unity this county cannot move forward,” said the Reverend.
The County Assembly Speaker, Hon. Justus Ngossor urged all to pray for children and all affected families as a result of prolonged drought.
