ASSEMBLY STAFF SET TO GROW IT’S WELFARE

The Kajiado County Assembly Staff Welfare Association has today conducted an inaugural AGM at the assembly chambers.

The welfare association was established in 2020 in an effort to better staff welfare through various programs.

During the meeting a new management committee was selected. Louis Kerea now takes over as Chairman from Wilson Kasaine, Esther Nailantei is the secretary replacing David Lenku, Emmanuel Poreka was voted as treasurer to succeed Juliet Nasieku. Jonathan Lantei takes over from Likam Angaine as organizing secretary while Joseph Pushati replaces Anita Siallo as vice chair.

The patron Leboo Saisa appreciated the the outgoing officials for steering the welfare association from its inception to a self sustaining level and called on the new team to work extra harder to ensure the association meets the aspirations of the members.
He further assured members that the County Assembly Service Board will continue offering support to the welfare association for the benefit of the staff.
