Kajiado County Assembly Speaker Hon.Justus Ngossor, today presided over the official opening of a three day Ward Managers training workshop at The Smith Hotel in Ongata Rongai.
The Speaker who was flanked by board members and leadership urged the Ward managers to ensure they discharge their duties and responsibilities for good and best practices for the sake of the public.
The capacity training is aimed at enhancing efficiency and performance of the officers at the Ward Offices.
“You are the face and image of the Assembly at the Ward level and therefore much is expected of you as public servants,” said Hon. Ngossor.
Kajiado County Assembly is among the few Assemblies that have equipped Ward offices to ensure members of the public get services easily at the grassroots.
