ASSEMBLY WOMEN LEADERS SET FOR LEADERSHIP CAPACITY BUILDING

Kajiado County Assembly is enlisted among other seven County Assemblies in a partnership programme aimed at women leadership empowerment.

The programme that brings together FIDA Kenya , Uraia Trust and Crawn Trust will see women Members of County Assembly benefit in a rigorous capacity building on leadership skills.

The partners made a courtesy call to the Clerk of Kajiado County Assembly, Leboo Saisa, to discuss parameters on the said program, to see a successful execution.

The project aims at enhancing the capacity of women leaders towards gender responsive leadership.

The women’s inclusive governance, accountability and participation project is fashioned towards electoral governance and will assist women MCA’s participate fully where decisions are being made as well as promote the gender sensitive legislations in their respective counties.
