The County Assemblies task force on BBI are in Naivasha with County Assemblies Forum’s Executive Committee. The Osoi led taskforce took the Executive Committee through a raft of proposed constitutional changes that will go a long way in improving service delivery to the people at the grassroots.
Hon. Johnson Osoi who chairs the taskforce that represents all the 47 County Assemblies said that their main role is to ensure that the devolved units remain autonomous from the executive arm and relevant for the best interest of all Kenyans.
The Assemblies umbrella body will today, together with Council of Governors, is today expected to meet the two principals of handshake, H.E. President Uhuru Kenyatta and Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga.
