Kajiado County Assembly Service Board and Leadership wish to announce with shock and sadness the passing on of Hon. Charles Lengete Kamete former Rombo Ward MCA, after a short illness.
The late, Hon. Lengete was a two term MCA who served in both the First and Second Assembly.
Hon. Charles Lengete Kamete
will be remembered for being part of a pioneer team of the Kajiado Assembly Service Board, that built the Assembly systems from scratch after the inception of the new devolution governance in 2013.
He was also the first leader of Majority Party.
His immense contributions to pieces of legislations, oversight and earnest representation of his people places him in the books of history.
Soft spoken and with acumen leadership the former MCA was known for encouraging peaceful coexistence and was indeed a leader known for giving solutions.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
