Kajiado County Assembly today hosted the Kiambu County Assembly Committee on Implementation and Legal Matters.
Kiambu County Assembly picked on Kajiado to benchmark on the best practises to oversight the executive and ensure that they implement the various resolutions of the Assembly as well the implementation of Development.

advised the Kiambu County Assembly to ensure that the Executive adhere to the resolutions and recommendations by Assembly Committees. Adding that oversight is a constitutional mandate of the legislature.
Hon. Father George Kimani , Chair, Kiambu County Assembly on Implementation & Legal Matters lauded the Assembly for it’s diligence in enacting laws & regulations.
“It’s encouraging that this Assembly has enacted 29 bills so far, indeed it’s a tremendous job,” said Hon. Kimani, adding that, “As epresentatives this is a challenge to us to go back, work harder to ensure that we develop more bills and policies as well as ensuring that the implementation of the County Assembly Resolutions and recommendations are realised.”
The Committee also paid a courtesy visit to the Speaker Hon.Justus Ngossor, Clerk Leboo Saisa and Deputy Clerk Kipambi Ntele.
