Kajiado County Assembly has been lauded for its effort to promote open governance and executing its constitutional mandate effectively.
This is after the Assembly took part in a Multi-Agency Good Governance Summit at Tenebo ACK, Kajiado.
The Leader of the Majority Party, Hon. John Loisa, in his speech read on behalf of the Speaker, Hon. Justus Ngosor, outlined the efforts and strategies employed to promote open governance.
The Speaker said that the Assembly has engaged the public through arrays of programmes to enhance inclusivity in its governance.
The President of the Public Service Governance, Ambassador Esther Waringa said the Bunge Mashinani initiative, open days, Speaker’s Round table, partnership and collaborations, civic education among others shows clearly that the Assembly is determined to work with the members of the public.
The County Assembly Clerk, Mr. Leboo Saisa said that its time public service reinvent its programs to attract talents in its human resource, just like corporates.
